The closure comes as a result of mounting pressure from the British government, who are using the full ferocity of British law to put legal pressure on enterprises who may be in any way linked to the British cannabis community.

A spokesman for the Canna Zine cannabis seed shop (http://feminised-seeds.eu ) told reporters the business was closing as a result of the threats made by government with the forthcoming reclassification of cannabis, set to happen on January 26th, when punishments for the possession of cannabis changes, bringing with it the threat of a 5 year prison term for simple possession.

Whilst the purchase and possession of cannabis seeds remains legal in the United Kingdom, (and bizarrely, looks set to remain so for the foreseeable future), its been alluded to, that any person knowingly selling cannabis seeds which are actually cultivated in the United Kingdom is likely to find him-or-herself at the mercy of the judicial system, as Police try all in their powers to bring prosecutions to business's involved in selling cannabis seeds, and at any length or so it would seem.
