Cannabis Consumers Helping To Save The Economy
http://pr.cannazine.co.uk : With the economy on its knees and the GB pound almost equal in value to the Euro, the United Kingdom is looking towards America for its cue's on how to turn the recession around, and according to a growing number of advertising industry experts the British cannabis community can follow the American marijuana industry in playing its part in leading the country out of the red, and onto a more level trading platform.

The Volcano Vaporizer is a world leader with annual sales of millions of GBP/Euro/Dollars every year
Recent research has revealed the value of Britains cannabis economy is in the region of £5 billion in 'supporting' sales alone. Of course that doesn't include sales of the substance itself, which could easily
double or even triple that amount if and when it is eventually decriminalised.
"Young people between 15 and 30 are very trend-conscious and aspirational", said Andy Davidson, who commissioned the study for The Research Business International, trend analysts who tracked the spending habits of young people for six months.

The study found that cannabis users spend an average of £20 on products that accompany their drug use each time they consume cannabis, and for the consumer who uses the drug once a week, this equates to over £1000 per head, per year in ancilliary sales.

In America, medical marijuana is an infant industry which for the first time in history, in the guise of one or two forward thinking companies, is now openly trading on the stock markets.

Through the likes of companies such as Medical Marijuana Inc who have patented an automated distribution and fulfillment system which meets all legal criteria for operating a medical marijuana dispensary, and Cannabis Science Inc , who have created an orally administered cannabis based lozenge for the treatment of a number of medical conditions, pretty much all of the moral arguments relating to cannabis have been removed, leaving cannabis entrepreneurs with carte blanche, to come up with ways of creating legitimate income without actually selling the drug itself.

A well-known side effect of cannabis use is as an aid to increased appetite.

The US medical fraternity has since the 1970's when medical marijuana first became available from government suppliers, recognised the benefits of being able to increase a persons appetite, thus fuelling the body's natural immune system.

A system far more efficient at fixing up the human body than prescription drugs alone.

The fast food industry is another which benefits from cannabis users.

Because smoking cannabis stimulates the appetite, users of the drug are providing a £120 million weekly windfall to a string of takeaway food suppliers, such as Burger King and KFC, and manufacturers of 'munchie' products such as Mars bars and potato crisps are also getting a piece of the pie.

"When we use cannabis at home, there are some things we always consume at the same time" says Bill Stone, press officer with the British Cannabis Lobby.

"Fresh fruit juice for example, and takeaway food like kebabs are always popular" he continued.

"There's a sort of conspiracy between consumers and retailers these days. You know why you buy these things and they know why you're buying them too, but no one actually mentions it".

"For instance its with a knowing smile that a petrol station forecourt attendant will sell three packets of rizla king size and a half dozen mars bars and packets of crisps at 3am" he concluded!

Government research has already confirmed that more than 15 million people in Britain have tried cannabis.

According to official figures there are 6-7 million regular users of cannabis every year.

More people than attend church, play Sunday league football or go fishing, (Labour party take note).

TRBI's Project Edge is the first study which has openly monitored cannabis use for commercial, rather than medical, purposes.

Regardless of whether they will openly admit it or not its understood the tobacco companies have worked secretly for years on trials of cannabis cigarettes, in spite of the fact that their scientists working on the projects risk arrest for drug possession.

However, manufacturers such as Rizla cigarette papers still insist that their 'King Size' Rizla papers are intended solely for making handmade cigarettes rather than rolling joints.

Be that as it may there's no doubt the green pound could play a large part in the recovery of the British economy, by way of the huge number of cannabis seed vendors, head shops selling pipes and bongs, as well as lifestyle items sold in support of cannabis culture, such as t-shirts and hoodies.

All of which already pay into the British economy with their tax payments.

"Even though cannabis remains the illegal hobby horse for successive governments, who wheel it out and make a noise about it everytime they need to deflect public attention from another expenses scandal" concluded Bill Stone, "the supporting industry continues in a rich vein of form, and with Arnold Shwarzenegger, Gov. of California looking for an honest and open debate on the merits of outright legalisaton, thats set to continue for the long term".

"As soon as transparency and science based drugs policies become the norm, cannabis will be legalised in under 12 months".

"Of course the politicians with a financial interest in pharmaceutical's, petroleum and alcohol know this all too well, which would perhaps go some way to explaining their reticence to allow the public to know the truth regarding what is commonly understood to be one of the safest most benign recreational drugs in existence today".

When its legal or decrim'd we aint' payin' nothin but for water to nourish our plants. And that is the way every one will do it. That's why its illegal !! Cause it don't cost much to do it yourself. It will never be legal to save money. "THEY" want your money to run their cities and businesses and infrastructure. Get Real. If legal, We Won't Buy IT from the govt. so forget about fixing the deficit with our weed.

Nah mate you're way off the mark there. There are very few people who have the time or effort to grow their own weed. Legalising weed will have very little impact on the number of home growers as people dont have the space, power set-up, knowledge or time it takes to produce a decent plant and no one likes smoking shit weed. That's why there'll be a massive market for quality green and most of the people I know now who grow at home have said they'd pack it in if they could get a pack of green from the garage.
Infact there's not a whole lot about your comment that sticks at all as the majority who would have a problem with buying taxed weed are just the posers who do more against the scene here in the UK especially down south. The UK scene is gonna take longer to revolutionise because unfortunately the number of real stoners is outweighted by the number of posers and chavs who do it because it's the 'in' thing. Particularly bad in Bristol and Bath where everyone smokes but not a single ...

plus I forgot to mention the fact that you clearly didn't read a word of this article as it is all about tax gains from the related costs . . . like growing equipment . . . baggies . . . cannabis nutrients (yes, I'd be surprised if you know but there are nutrients specifically aimed at the cannabis home growth market), hydroponic systems, lamps, carbon filters and the other £100-£600 generally spent on making a home grow op workable.
Even if your oddly dilluded view of the way weed works in the UK (or anywhere else in the world for that matter) held true, you'd still have pointed out MASSIVE gains taxwise.

Sorry if these comments seem a bit extreme for international readers but this is a clear example of the common PRO!!! Weed mindset here in the UK.
Completely uninformed and extremely degenerative to the cause. Legalisation here is going to take a long, long, long time because stoners refuse to educate themselves and think dreads and a pantera shirt qualifies you to talk shit like ...
