http://pr.cannazine.co.uk : What do a former state senator who suffers with Hepatitis-C, a Republican state representative and two cancer survivors all have in common?
They all believe in a patients rights to use medical marijuana with a doctors recommendation. They are also prepared to put their collective personal reputations on the line by putting their heads above the parapet, as they speak out in favor of medical marijuana laws in New Hampshire.
Laws which (incidentally), the electorate have already voted in favor of, but N.H. Gov John Lynch decided to almost unilaterally veto. Not exactly what you would call democracy Gov Lynch?

CONCORD— One day prior to the final vote on HB 648, patients and advocates will hold a Tuesday morning press conference urging legislators to end the uncertainty and pass this bill into law when they vote Oct. 28.
Additionally, half-page newspaper ads have been put in place to run Tuesday in the Concord Monitor and the New Hampshire Union-Leader urging support for the override.
HB 648 passed the House and Senate June 24, but was subsequently vetoed by Gov. John Lynch. If it becomes law, New Hampshire would become the 14th state to protect seriously ill patients from arrest for using medical marijuana if their doctor recommends it.
