Its now generally agreed there will soon be more Apple Ipods in our homes than there are PC's. And whilst its always been thought the ipod in its many guises, is the 'must-have' gadget of the century so-far, lets not forget the century is still young. There's still time to improve the already perfect.

So when in 2009 Apple Inc's CEO Steve Jobs announced to the world the fact that Apple were about to launch the latest manifestation of its popular ipod nano MP3 player, the world sat up and took notice.

Video uploads to the internet is currently big business, so when Mr Jobs later announced to a hall full of Apple technical bods "video uploading is huge and we want a piece of the action", the full might of the Apple PR machine was thrown behind the launch and very quickly, a legend was born.

As for the new Ipod Nano 5th generation with video camera built in? It sold out in days and it quickly became THE must-have Christmas gift of 2009.

Fast forward to today and a quick YouTube search for Ipod Moments reveals pages of other peoples ipod moments. Showing an already keen following forming for a dedicated ipod moments YouTube channel.

But herein lies a growing problem. More and more public buildings such as library's, schools and colleges etc, are putting YouTube into their 'disallow' filters, as a result of possibly objectionable material being displayed. Which leaves a small gap in the market. And this is where ipod moments.com comes into your life.
