Y'see in Cardiff, today, Friday February 1st, the predominant deal on the street, is soapbar, (that brown stuff which pretends to be hashish). Sure there's green about, but not very much, and ridiculously expensive. There's not much about see, so it drives the prices up and I don't know many who will sell an ounce at a time. More profit in £10 bag's.
So what does that tell us about the stuff which is being grown wholesale in South Wales? Thats right. Most it is not smoked in South Wales. Or the UK even. Whilst traffic is meticulously checked coming into the UK, no one looks at the traffic heading out!
Cardiff may well play host to some large cannabis farms, but its only as a result of the prohibition. If there were no prohibition, and people were allowed to grow enough for themselves, as they are in Holland, Portugal, Belgium etc, there would be no cannabis farms, because the countries mentioned don't have this issue to deal with. Fact!
Another point worth raising is the landlords of these properties. Cardiff, (as Chief Superintendent Jones will doubtless know) has a notorious history of unscrupulous landlords, who, if you turned up with a fist-full of crisp 20's and paid 6 month's in advance, you can do what the hell you like in their property, because there's no come-back for them. They don't care if two battalions of the viet-cong turn up.
Perhaps its time there was some comeback? If they don't make the necessary checks on the credentials of their customers, surely they become "party" to the fact? How many landlords have "suffered this fate" more than once?
Lets face it with all the news coverage this has received over the months and years, some of these landlords are profiting from drugs. Simple as that! The Canna Zine is 1 year old this week. Happy birthday to us, and thanks to everyone who visits the Canna Zine to find out whats happening in the world of cannabis.
You won't find any Police or government propaganda reports on the Canna Zine. We leave that to other cannabis websites. We tell it just like it is, so here's to another successful year of cannabis news, and exerting pressure on UK government to change the irrational policy on cannabis.
Set up in February 2007, the Canna Zine is the first-in-the-world news agency dedicated to the global issues surrounding cannabis, hemp and illicit drugs in general.
