'Big Brother' TV executive arrested for cannabis in Dubai
A television executive from the Big Brother production company "Endemol" has been detained in Dubai after having health supplement pills, "other" pills and a tiny amount of hashish siezed as he tried to enter the country.
Cat Le-Huy was arrested and can expect the mandatory minimum of 4 years imprisonment in a tough, dirty prison system if found guilty.
Le-Huy's girlfriend. Mildred Von Hildegar has launched a campaign for his release, but if history is to repeat itself, Cat Le-Huy's fate is a foregone conclusion.
According to a friend of the accused TV exec, "He is very scared."
Former colleague Dorthe Wolke said "Cat doesn't smoke hashish. The only explanation we can put to this situation is the fact he lent his bag to some friends a while back and he has no idea what it was used for during this time."
Melatonin, or products containing either or both of isolated or synthesized melatonin have been available as a health supplement in the United States since 1993, and met with good consumer acceptance and enthusiasm. However, over-the-counter sales remain illegal in many other countries including some members of the European Union, and New Zealand and the U.S. Postal Service lists melatonin among items prohibited by Germany.
Cat Le-Huy is a German National.

I just cant understand why people are still "accidentally" getting caught with stuff in UAE. Its long been known as a "no-go" so far as drugs are concerned.
