It doesn't take much for Matchbox Twenty frontman Rob Thomas to get on his stony soapbox.
At a party for The Wackness, which opens on Thursday, the pop-rocker commented , "I'm a huge pothead, and I'm a big fan of legalization. In fact, all my stories usually start with, 'OK, so I was really high...'" One of Thomas' stories - "The Art of Scoring" - appears in Pot Culture.

The thing about pot is, no matter where you are in the world, you'll find that people smoking it are generally kind, peace-loving folks.
But this isn't to say that stoners are all hippies like the ones portrayed in the media.
If that were the case, it would be easy to find weed anywhere. Just walk up to the first head you see, make the universal "two fingers to the lips" sign and you'll be hooked up.
But the truth is all kinds of people are stoners: lawyers, Fortune 500 businessmen, housewives, the fifty-something dude who lives next door and wears lemon sweaters and white shoes.
But because of the stigma surrounding our favorite ritual, people have to keep it to themselves. This means if you want to search out the other heads in your surroundings, you have to become a pot-smoking Crime Dog McGruff...
