Some political advice for Paris Hilton

Dearest Paris,

First of all I want to say I have to be your biggest fan. Even back before “The Simple Life,” I read stories about you and the wild times you and your sister used to have at nightclubs. My first reaction was wondering why anyone cared. Nightclubs + getting crazy =  so what, that’s what nightclubs are for. Then I got it. You’re a Hilton, one of “The Hiltons.” I know some Hiltons but not any of The Hiltons. That’s was when I began to be a fan, because you’re a rebel.

I don’t think,,,OK,, I know most people don’t appreciate what you contribute to society by just being your Hot Beautiful Self. So let me explain it to them. When you come from a family that has “The” before their last name meaning you are so rich that the whole world practically revolves around you and the few other families that have so much more than everyone else, you know, American royalty - just like with old school European royalty, you’re expected to act in certain ways in public. But to me, that’s been one of the major downfalls of society since the dawn of time. It not only suffocates the individuality of the people born to wealth and privilege but cuts the rest of us off from their lifestyles, something we all contribute to providing for them in one way or another as members of the working class.

Let me just guess Paris - Your biggest fans are members of super rich families, especially young people who are inspired by your breaking away from the pack to find out what life outside the palace is really like. And I bet even a lot of the older more conservative voices, even some of the ones who were most vocal against your shenanigans in your earlier years of building your most prestigious and successful public career, have reached out to you over the years to thank you for opening their eyes to there being life outside the crystal glass bubble most of them never venture far from. I mean you got guts to have done the things you have done girlfriend. I can’t imagine how many young princesses throughout the ages have wanted to let their hair down the way you have and gotten away with it but you are the one who actually did it.

But for those of us out here in the real world who don’t get you, Paris is not just opening up doors for the super rich to hobnob with the peasantry but for us to have access to them. And I don’t mean that the way it sounds. I mean a lot of our social mindset is just as lost as how royalty throughout history has placed themselves above the human race as superior. As our economy is built to support them being and always staying wealthy, we have also allowed ourselves in many ways to feel inferior to those who have more than us even though what they have we gave to them.

But Paris brings us all together to see we’re not different after all, not as people. I know many of you think that sounds crazy but just wait 20 years when posterity points out that Paris influenced greatly some of the new and positive directions society is taking now with both rich and poor being better able to see each other in different lights through the inspiration she brings to our overall social equation.

Enough of the smoke blowing. It’s going to get steamy in here of it gets any hotter. Let’s move onto your energy policy.

There are a lot of lies coming out of Washington. Most of them mean bad things for this country. The truth of what is behind them would be good for Americans to know about. But since so few people understand the more complex issues while the news media has its own agenda attached to the same political platforms as both the other candidates for the White House, much of it will never reach most of our ears before this election cycle ends, unless of course another candidate everyone is on the edge of their seat waiting for more of what you have to say brings it up, which would be you, Paris Hilton, the next President of the USA.

What if I told you there are solutions to our energy problems, two of them, one for each candidate, that they should know about and be promoting as part of their policies? What if I told you there is a solution to all the problems with ethanol that’s threatening to derail it from being produced anymore (Obama) while there is also a way to refine gasoline and diesel fuel to give 20 % more mileage with 70 percent less pollution(McCain)?

And I don’t mean some off-the-wall technologies or backyard inventions that everyone is trying to sell as the nest solution to the futures energy troubles. I mean I can tell you of a couple stories that are in the news now, huge stories that aren’t being picked up by the candidates, our leaders in Washington, or the mainstream news media because they go against the political interests of the oil and ethanol industry.

There are a lot of stories like that these days, things that most Americans aren’t getting the whole story on because they are too politically sensitive to a handful of very powerful and corrupt corporations boards of directors which in the end means we’re being lied to because we’re being hurt by not having all the facts. And I know where the bodies are buried. It’s what I do, find out the truth and write about it, the stories other news sources just can’t seem to wrap their head around. Here is a sample of my work about the energy issues I’m talking about.

If you made another video like the other one, which was really wonderful - I wish the other candidates could take a lesson from you in how to produce something that’s educational as well as refreshing instead of making me wish I didn’t have a TV. (See more Paris Hilton videos at Funny or Die)

I’m 49 years old. I grew up in an era when Women and Blacks were thought to be too ignorant to compete with white men in the real world, back when they were expected to tend to the backs of trash trucks and wash dirty dishes for their husbands. I saw the ad McCains ran as reminiscent of a time when white men pressured each other with the same kinds of tactics trying to hold onto power where anyone who thought Woman or Blacks could compete with white men were idiots. It was like the ad was saying that anyone who thought Brittany and You were anything but dumb blondes was stupid enough to believe a Black man could run the White House. It was offensive but I loved that he did it, brought you into the race.

The point is that since Woman and Blacks have had equal rights next to white men, this nation grew almost overnight leaving the rest of the world eating the dust of our economic and political prowess, until recently when the same kinds of conservatives who didn’t want Woman and Blacks working next to them screwed everything up. And even now after all Bush has done, McCain wants to go back to the days where we see Blacks and Blondes as idiots compared to white men, old scrunched up wrinkled ones wearing suits and ties that clash with their white hair who have all but driven this country into the ground after having risen into the heavens in the 80’s and 90’s.

I am a white man. White men screw up this world worse than anyone else. I don’t know if Woman or Blacks can fix it but they can’t make it any worse. And I have a great deal of faith that they can put it back together better than it’s even been. So I hope you will take yourself serious and campaign further to stump the status quo. Look into what I’ve written in these two articles. They are huge ball busters for Washington. Put them out there. Show them you can come up with the kind energy policy that the American people have been waiting to hear about, something that will work rather than fail, something that’s new and fresh that we can all bank on positive change coming from while the people causing all the problems now will suffer from us knowing about.

If you like it, let me know and I will tell you how to fix the economy and solve global warming, issues that also have simple solutions that are not politically convenient to the people that line our leaders pockets with free money.

I hope so much that you read this and even more that you follow up on it. I have a lot of initiatives in the works right now trying to put these stories out where they belong so Americans can see what’s really going on. But I like this one best. I Love it. It’s so totally Hot. So fire up your camcorder and lets bust some big balls.

You need a running mate. How bout Britany? I have always said that if Britany Spears knew what I know, the world would be a totally different place because all she would have to do is talk about it and none of the lies we’re being told could hold water again. You and Rihanna  – a Super Bangin Hot Ticket to a whole new kind of election cycle. Go for it girls, rack-em-up and let’s have a real election.
