Wall Street crashed on 10 - 09 - 08

Yesterday Wall Street officially crashed. We’ve been hearing the sounds of its screeching tires in the distance hoping it will not be followed by sound of metal crunching where we have to run outside with a phone in our hand dialing 911- another date on Wall Street that will live on in our nightmares for quite a while.

On October 9, 2008, 10 – 09 – 08, while Wall Street was out joy riding our economy around the nation drunk off its ass, it crashed itself right into us, the hard working American people that built it. If these numbers are a sign of what is to come - countdown to when our financial managers stop rolling over on top of us, we should all be living under bridges by October 16, National Feral Cat Day. Hopefully the dumpsters won’t run out of food by the time the people who did this to us sober up and decide to let us have our money back so we can go back to making them rich and powerful again. Or better yet, maybe we should tough it out until they’re living out there with us so they can get a dose of what real street living is.

Maybe we should get rid of them altogether. Maybe we should nationalize everything and start printing up money, take everything away from them and rebuild the economy with money we pull out if thin air. It’s been done before and the economy boomed. If yesterdays date is an indicator, that may well be an option by this time next week when the countdown to a complete meltdown hits zero.
